Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
- Is The Coparenting App really free?
- Yes! The core features — calendar, messaging, expense tracking, documents, daily check-ins, and community — are free for all families. Video call minutes and some premium professional features may have optional paid tiers in the future.
- Is my data secure and private?
- Absolutely. All messages are encrypted and stored securely. We never share your personal data with third parties. Your information is only visible to you and the people you choose to share it with (e.g., your coparent or connected professional).
- Can I use the app if my coparent refuses to sign up?
- Yes. While many features work best when both parents participate, you can still use the calendar for personal scheduling, the journal for private notes, the community forum, and document storage on your own.
- Are messages and records court-admissible?
- All messages are timestamped and tamper-proof. You can export your full communication history, expense records, and calendar logs as court-ready PDF or CSV documents at any time.
- How do I export data for my attorney?
- Go to the relevant section (Messages, Expenses, or Calendar), tap the export button, choose your date range and format (PDF or CSV), and share the file directly with your legal team.
- What devices does the app support?
- The Coparenting App works on any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
